Otinova is an ear spray for treating swimmer’s ear. The antimicrobial and clinical effects of Otinova have been scientifically and clinically documented. Otinova has a local astringent effect, relieves itching and has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Otinova is free from antibiotics and steroids and does not contribute to antibiotic resistance. Otinova can be used from the age of 5 years.

Swimmer’s ear is caused by water remaining in the ear canal after showering, bathing, diving and, of course, swimming. Swimmer’s ear can also be caused by regular use of earplugs, headphones, earmuffs and hearing aids. It often occurs in people who swim a lot or spend time in warm, humid environments. Symptoms of swimmer’s ear can include earache, a moist ear, excessive earwax and itching in the ear.

The spray function makes Otinova easy to apply in the ears. Spray 1-2 times into the ear canal, in the morning and in the evening. Tilt the head after spraying so that the liquid flows into the ear canal.

Otinova solution contains aluminium acetate and aluminium acetotartrate (1.8% aluminium), acetic acid and water (pH 3-4). Otinova contains 15 ml of solution (150 doses). Otinova comes in a plastic bottle.

Otinova complies with CE marking. A CE marking means that Otinova complies with all EU requirements.

Otinova weighs 39 grams including packaging and measures 4.5 x 11 x 3.7 cm.
